It was intended to be both an aide mmoire of that exhibition, and also a taste of what was exhibited. On display (and in this book) were type specimens that are not only aesthetic but reflect the working practices of designers throughout the twentieth century. An excellent showing of specimens and scholarship. And its only $20.
